2022 Chain Reaction Challenge
The Chain Reaction Challenge, held in April 2022, saw riders from Brisbane head to Tasmania for the seven day cycling event. Working their way across 1000km from Launceston through the Tasmanian Highlands, and finishing up at Mt Wellington in Hobart, the peloton experienced all of the ups and downs the ride had to offer.
Completing the 1000km journey is a massive accomplishment in itself, however raising much needed funds supporting children is really what motivated our team in their journey across Tasmania.
VAE team members Graeme Schofield (Design Manager) and Ben Carter (CEO) participated in the epic ride, raising $52,000 for Traction for Young People, and the AEIOU Foundation for Children with Autism.
We would like to thank everyone that contributed to the fundraising, especially our subbies and suppliers.
The overall funds raised for this years Brisbane challenge was over $1.5 million! Setting a record for the highest fundraising total in Chain Reactions’ 15 year history.
