We’ve expanded our South East Queensland roots to cities and remote areas throughout Australia, opening offices across the ocean in New Zealand, and collaborating on projects in the highlands of Papua New Guinea.

Engineering Team
VAE’s strongest asset is its people and the engineering team is no exception. Led by a team of senior engineers with experience spanning the full breadth of the industry, complimented with intermediate and junior engineers, we have the depth to deliver multiple projects simultaneously. Junior engineers can find themselves sitting alongside more experienced colleagues collaboratively working together to deliver complex projects. Mentoring and development is a focus at VAE with hands on experience used to enhance our team's skills.
Drafting Team
VAE provides a dynamic environment utilising the latest software packages to enhance our drafting ability and experience. We promote a standard of quality above our competitors and strive to provide a product which exceeds our client's expectations. BIM is at the forefront of VAE drafting along with our collaborative approach utilising REVIT, BIM360 Team & Collaboration for REVIT (C4R) that allows us to engage with project teams outside of VAE. Our drafting team has a simple motto - “we can do anything”.
Project Management
Our project and site managers love what they do because of the superior engineering and drafting skills that we provide. Our innovative value engineering supported by 3D drafting and BIM coordination make us market leaders that our staff want to be a part of.
Commissioning Team
A commissioning engineer enjoys the diversity in all facets of commissioning including essential services and building pressurisation testing with a range of clients including hospitals, defence force, auditoriums, commercial retail space and high-rise residential. There are travel opportunities nationally and internationally with VAE's project portfolio and staff receive support from our engineers, draftpersons, project managers and the commissioning manager.
Service Technicians
VAE is not just a service company - we provide the full package. Because of the diversity in the business, technicians are exposed to more than just service issues. Working at VAE allows you to draw from the depth of experience within while working for a company that is owned and operated by its directors at a local level. There's plenty of opportunity for career advancement with exposure to many aspects of building solutions with our varied project portfolio.
Finance Team
VAE offers a dynamic environment for finance professionals to utilise and further develop their skills. With a focus on automation and efficiency of processes across the business, the finance team is supported in identifying and implementing changes that make a difference. Our international projects and offices offer experience in dealing with international transactions and our finance leaders ensure that everyone can produce quality information for both internal and external stakeholders that adds value to business decisions.
